A Return to Pleasure
We are slowly emerging from the darkness, lifting ourselves back toward the light. Yet before we rise, let us hold with tenderness all that was asked of us this year, and the ways we were expanded, stretched, and shaped by what we moved through. An invitation to pause and integrate all that we carried. To rest. To soften. To offer ourselves a gentle return to pleasure and joy. And to make space for what feels good now, especially the longings that may have lingered quietly at the bottom of our list all year. A moment to soften into a sweet, intentional ending here, before the new year begins.
This week, let integration, rest, and pleasure guide you. How can you create more space for yourself in the days ahead? What are the things you weren’t able to do this year that you could make time for now? In which ways could you also allow yourself the luxury of simply doing nothing? Give yourself permission to linger with what feels light and enjoyable, simply because it brings you joy. You are worthy of this pause and the softness of these final days. Escaping into the liminal space between the years, where you can rest gently in-between what has unfolded and all that is still to come.
