Hold Close What Matters
Within the world and within ourselves, familiar structures are falling away, and we need to allow ourselves to be with this moment. Before we can emerge from this, we need to move through the dissolving, remain present rather than turn away, and listen to what is opening beneath the surface of this monumental shift. There is an opening for change, and in this moment we all are choosing how to move through it–through the way we meet ourselves, the way we meet one another, and the care we extend. For now, our greatest purpose is to care more deeply than before, to be of service to our communities, and to channel our fear, worry, and frustration into action. We need one another, now more than ever, and what becomes essential is the courage to remain in compassion and love, even where we do not agree.
This week, choose to move with the change. Where is something dissolving within your own life? In which ways are openings appearing, and what are they making space for? How are you being called to serve, to support, to bring steadiness to your community now? Amidst the world shifting, hold space for all that arises within you, so that you can become more present and direct your emotions into connection and care. And even as you sense the heaviness of the world, also take in the beauty that is present: the connection, poetry, art, and moments of grace. Hold close what nurtures and matters. We are moving through this together, dear one.
